Spun Out "High Life"

Spun Out recently released a new single called "High Life". This is the first new music from the group since their 2021 EP "Silver Shine".

   

Sludgeworth "Losers of the Year"

The local label Red Scare Industries recently announced a deluxe reissue of one and only full-length album, Losers of the Year, from the punk pioneers Sludgeworth.

The album was originally released in 1995 via Lookout! Records, but this reissue includes two additional previously unreleased songs. Losers of the Year is due out of December 9th.

Sludgeworth is the work of the Dan Schafer (vocals), Adam White (guitar), Dave McClean (guitar), Mike Hootenstrat (bass), and Brian Vermin (drums).

   

Nikko Blue "Rogelio"

Nikko Blue recently released a new single called "Rogelio". This is the trio of Alex Robles, Jake Finely, and Logan Bentz.

You can catch Nikko Blue of December 14th at The Giant Penny Whistle with Illusions of Choice, and Jesus Freak. They will also be performing at The Bottom Lounge on December 16th with The Fundamental Kink, Dad Hat, and Division Point.

   

Erik Hall "Canto Ostinato - Sections 17 - 30"

Chicago Native Erik Hall has released a preview of his forthcoming album, Canto Ostinato, which is due out via Western Vinyl on February 24th.

This is Hall's take on the composition of the Dutch Classical Minimalist Simeon ten Holt.
